Eel en Ko ( Mortadelo y Filemon ) is a comic series by the Spanish cartoonist Francisco Ibáñez about two blundering secret agents . The comic series has been running since 1958 and includes more than 200 albums. 59 of these were released in Dutch between 1971 and 2006.
In these albums there is often considerable physical violence, sometimes accompanied by rather strange use of language. However, they are often clearly victims of external, disastrous factors, about which they can do nothing.
